WCAG fixes, every week

Accessibility, fixed. Not just reported.

Allmenta measures your website against WCAG 2.1 AA every week and gives every issue we find an exact location and fix, most with ready-made code. The next measurement confirms the fix, and your accessibility statement stays up to date.

SEK 34,900 a year per website, fixes included. Excluding VAT.

The first frame of the film. The contact page of a fictional Swedish municipality, where the search button has no text.
Scene 1. The contact page of a fictional Swedish municipality. The search button has no text, so a screen reader only says button.
Scene 2. The code in sok.html with the line aria-label=Sök added. Finished code, not a report.
Scene 3. A PDF form is tagged with heading, paragraph, form and fields. The reading begins.
Scene 4. Allmenta’s panel in edit mode. The editor clicks Fix and the defect leaves the list.
Scene 5. The receipt for the Contact page. The re-check confirms it, defects left on the page go from 3 to 2.
Example from a fictional municipality, Exempelstad. The Fix button for Sitevision is in development.

The film in text

The film has no sound. Everything that is said is shown on screen. Interface text on the example pages is in Swedish. Timecodes in seconds.

0:00 to 0:06.5. Scene 1, The defect.

Picture: The contact page of "Exempelstads kommun" (a fictional Swedish municipality) in a browser window that fills the frame. A mouse pointer moves toward the search button at the top right, hesitates and rests on it. The button is isolated, the rest of the page fades, and the button's code hangs from a line beneath it: <button id="search-submit" type="submit"><i class="fal fa-search"></i></button>.

Screen reader (0:00.7): "Sök på exempelstad.se, search field". (0:03.05): "button."

On screen: "The search button has no text." Then: "A screen reader just says: button. The visitor never learns that it is search. WCAG 4.1.2 Name, role, value."

0:06.5 to 0:12.5. Scene 2, The fix.

Picture: The code in sok.html as a diff. The button line is marked as removed and a new line is typed one character at a time: aria-label="Sök" is added to the button. The old line folds away and "Ready to publish" appears.

On screen: "Finished code. Not a report. The missing line, written for this page."

0:12.5 to 0:19. Scene 3, The documents.

Picture: A PDF opens: "Ansökan om plats på förskola, fritidshem och i pedagogisk omsorg.pdf" (an application form for preschool and after-school care), 7 pages.

Screen reader (0:13.3): "721501v11.pub". Then silence, the sound wave is a flat line.

On screen: "Seven pages. The screen reader reads nothing. The document is called 721501v11.pub and has no structure."

Picture: The document is tagged. Heading, paragraph, form, fields and checkboxes are marked in turn, the Document structure panel lists the tags, title and language are set.

Screen reader (0:17.6): "Ansökan om plats på förskola, fritidshem och i pedagogisk omsorg, heading level 1."

On screen: "We tag it. The reading begins. Headings, fields and reading order, in the same document. WCAG 1.3.1 and 2.4.2, PDF/UA."

0:19 to 0:26. Scene 4, The editor.

Picture: The Contact page in edit mode, signed in as Maria Lind. On the right, Allmenta's panel "Allmenta · this page, 3 defects". The camera moves slowly in on the "Fix automatically" button of the top defect, "Button has no readable text, Critical, #search-submit, WCAG 4.1.2", with the code suggestion aria-label="Sök". The pointer hesitates and clicks (0:22.4). The button shows "Fixing…", then "Fixed". The row glows green with "Fixed by Maria Lind. Receipted at the next check.", slides out of the list and the counter goes from 3 defects to 2.

On screen: "The editor clicks Fix. In the tool she already works in. The defect leaves the list."

0:26 to 0:32. Scene 5, The receipt.

Picture: A receipt for the Contact page with three rows. The re-check sweeps over the list, the date changes to "checked today", the fixed defect gets the mark "Verified gone" and the row slides away. "Defects left on the page" goes from 3 to 2 and the stamp "Receipted" appears.

Screen reader (0:29): "Sök, button."

On screen: "The re-check confirms it. The list is one item shorter. The fix is receipted."

0:32 to 0:35. End card.

Picture: Dark blue. "SEK 2,908 a month. The fix is included." The Allmenta wordmark, large and centred. Below it: "Check your website: allmenta.se/en/check".

How it works

Measure, fix, confirm. Every week.

1. We measure

Every page we can reach, tested against the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria that a machine can verify. Every week, not every other year.

2. You get the fix

The issues we find get an exact location and fix, and who it affects. Most come with ready-made code, the rest with a text suggestion. Your developer or agency pastes it in.

3. We confirm

The next measurement shows the issue is gone. The history and the weekly report show what has been fixed, and when.

For agencies

Your clients keep you. We do the accessibility.

You build and run websites for other organisations. Allmenta measures them every week and gives your team the code, so accessibility stops being a separate project. You keep the client relationship.

One view for all your sites, and a partner programme with a share of the subscription. The partner programme (Partnerprogrammet) is described in Swedish.

For online shops

The European Accessibility Act is now law.

Since 28 June 2025, online shops and many digital services selling to consumers in the EU must meet the accessibility requirements. In Sweden the Act is implemented as tillgänglighetslagen. Microenterprises offering services are exempt.

An overlay script on top of the site does not change the code underneath. We fix the code itself, in Shopify, WooCommerce or your own platform.

For the public sector

Built for Swedish municipalities.

Swedish public bodies must follow the Web Accessibility Directive, implemented in Sweden as the DOS Act (DOS-lagen). Digg, the Agency for Digital Government, supervises it. We keep your accessibility statement current, and if Digg opens a supervisory case, we help you respond. It is included.

Most Swedish municipalities publish with Sitevision. Our Sitevision app shows issues in the editor. A button that fixes simple issues in Sitevision is in development.
