Home Audit tool or fixes
ComparisonAudit tools find the errors. Allmenta fixes them.
Both measure your website against WCAG. The difference is what happens next: who works out the solution, and how you know it is in place.
With an audit tool
You find out what is wrong.
- What you get
- A list of errors, page by page, often with a general explanation of the criterion.
- Who fixes it
- Your editor, developer or agency works out the solution and applies it.
- How you know it is fixed
- When someone runs a new audit and compares it with the last list.
- Accessibility statement
- Often a separate task, or a template you fill in yourselves.
- If the regulator gets in touch
- You answer yourselves, or buy consultancy time.
- What the price covers
- The audit and the list of errors. The fixing is done by you or bought separately.
With Allmenta
You get what fixes it.
- What you get
- An exact location and fix for the issues the measurement finds, most with ready-made code, the rest with a text suggestion.
- Who fixes it
- Your editor or agency pastes in the code. A button that fixes simple issues in Sitevision is in development.
- How you know it is fixed
- The next weekly measurement confirms the fix automatically. The history shows when it happened.
- Accessibility statement
- Kept up to date after every measurement. Included.
- If the regulator gets in touch
- If Digg opens a supervisory case, we help you respond. It is included in Fix.
- What the price covers
- Measurement, fixes and confirmation for SEK 2,908 a month per website, billed annually (SEK 34,900). By invoice, below the Swedish direct procurement threshold.
Scanning tools show the issues. Allmenta delivers the fix, for SEK 2,908 a month. All prices are on the pricing page.
When a tool is enough.
If you have developers with time, and a routine where the list actually gets worked through, an audit tool may be all you need. The tool finds the errors and your team does the rest.
Most organisations do not. The list lands with an editor or an agency who has other priorities, and the errors stay until the next audit. That is the step Allmenta takes care of.
What no automated measurement does.
Automated measurement tests the criteria a machine can verify. Some things need a person, such as whether an alt text describes the image correctly or whether a video is well captioned.
That applies to audit tools and to Allmenta alike. We say so plainly, and where a person is needed you get a ready-made text suggestion to review instead of code.
